About Our Community
About Our Community
We all have witnessed the struggle parents have faced over the past year to afford for their children to participate in football, cheer programs, other activities that derive from sports, and other needs that arise. We believe that for some, this life wasn’t chosen, and it reaches back generations. Like you, we know that a student engaged in sports is more likely to become a productive member of society.
Because of this, a group of concerned former residents of Roseland Homes has birthed a vision for equipping neighborhood students to actively participate in sports. Our vision includes recruiting volunteer coaches to partner with these students to ensure their initial and continued success.
With the theme “What About Our Quality of Life,” we also aim to tackle issues, such as conflict resolution and drug awareness, as well as highlight the importance of identifying mental health concerns and positive body imaging.
